What We Found
Dalton Investments is a global value investor managing over $1.3 billion in assets. With locations in England, Japan, China and the U.S., Dalton's existing website was outdated and failed to demonstrate the level of credibility mandated when attracting large accounts. In order to measure up to the competition, Dalton needed not just a new website, but a new brand.
What We Did
Through our research, we learned Dalton’s values were formed around strategic, long-term decision making over short-term gains. Unfortunately, the firm’s existing brand wasn’t exactly conveying that message to prospective investors.
Beginning with the re-brand, we positioned Dalton as a strong and stable investor known for sound advice and capable of handling the greatest of assets. The new messaging was applied to Dalton’s marketing materials including the logo, business cards, presentation template, letterhead, newsletter and website.
As a result, Dalton is now enjoying the benefits of improved brand positioning and a website that encourages fresh content and frequent publication.
