What we found
The University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNC-G), founded over a century ago, is one of 16 public institutions in the University of North Carolina system. UNC-G’s roots are firmly planted in traditional education, yet it recognized early on that distance education was becoming an increasingly popular alternative. The school’s distance ed program (iCampus) was experiencing increased pressure from competing programs and needed a boost in order to remain competitive.
What we did
VisionPoint Marketing partnered with iCampus to plan and execute a search engine optimization (SEO) program with the goal of driving additional qualified leads to iCampus. This program involved several initiatives, including:
- Determination of the exact keywords and phrases that would drive the highest volume of qualified prospects to the sites
- Development and application of new navigation and site infrastructure
- Implementation of keyword-driven content on existing pages
- Application of optimized code to over 150 pages meeting new compliance standards and SEO best practices
